The KATA SERGO TOTEM is made from Ethiopian cedar. It is a rare piece that dates back to the 18th century and symbolises a mythical being, which represented the "Guardian of Sleep". This sculpture carved from the trunk of a cedar tree is often vertical and planted in the ground. Worshipped by traditional primitive cultures, the TOTEM has become the ancestor of the clan. Ethiopia is a state of the Horn of Africa, a unique country with a religious heritage, which is landlocked with a large percentage of the country consisting of high plateaus.
Considered to be the birthplace of humanity, Lucy, the oldest Homo-Sapien ancestor was found here. The KATA SERGO TOTEM, like many of its predecessors is a protective and benevolent deity.
